Yoga Explorations classes emphasize mindfulness and breath in the context of a more athletic practice. They are more suitable for people who have practiced yoga for a while or are physically fit. In comparison to Yoga Foundations classes, they give you more opportunities to practice not getting stressed out when stressful things are happening. They a re also suitable for beginners who want to practice ‘saying no’ to things that don’t serve them. You do this by skipping those poses and sequences that are challenging enough that they don’t allow you to enjoy your breath while you do them.
