A Life Lesson from Thai Traffic

Thai traffic has taught me an important life lesson that has not only made me a better driver, but a better person. True, traffic in Thailand is chaotic and there are [...]

I signed up for private sessions with Gernot because I have some hip and low back issues that my personal yoga practice often aggravate. It's not a stretch to say... read more I learned more from three thorough sessions with him than I did in my yoga teacher training. And by "more", I mean all those subtle little biomechanical adjustments that make a massive difference.
Gernot has an incredible knowledge of anatomy and physiology, and it's so well integrated into his yoga knowledge. Step by step, we went through all of my "troubling" asanas and transitions that produce pain and tension, and even those sneaky ones that feel fine but aren't doing my body any favours. There are certain things (bad movement habits) I simply couldn't have known without his insight and expertise. And I can apply them to my practice with instant results.
My practice (and body) are forever improved thanks to his knowledge and guidance. I highly recommend Gernot's classes (I go to those too) as well as his one-on-one teaching. Amazing experience - thanks Gernot!
March 11, 2021I have taken classes with Gernot 1on1, in studio, and on his online platform since he started it during covid.
I want to thank Gernot from all my heart... read more for your teachings and continuous support. You built my practice from the ground, you will remain at it's core, and you gave me the fondation that allowed me to approach yoga (and life) with more ease, joy, and awareness. You changed my life for the better in big ways and I will remain forever grateful for that.
I won't stop recommending you to whomever is interested in yoga.
In gratitude,
Matthew

I learnt yoga is more than the asana. Yoga is how you are sitting, how you are walking, how much tension do you have in your muscles. Yoga is accept your body how it is and find your way to enjoy in the practice.
Gernot gave me a sentence which I bring with me in the life: "The answers are not important, the importance are in the great qu
